Eggbert Free Egg Service for Caretakers
Back to top'I am currently running two eggbert accounts for the free egg service. They are eggbert09 and Eggbert10.
This service is to help those who are looking to try to hatch a new fauna species they don't have, or to add new blood to those who would like to mix things up. It's available to all caretakers whether old or new to the game.
There is a limit of 3 eggs per my time on eggbert, which is currently 5-6 times a week. It is easiest to leave a note in either totem with the name and species of the egg(s) you would like. In eggbert09 you need to leave the color as well as those eggs are sorted in color groups due to the sheer number of them. I am willing to go over the 3 egg limit on occasion for those who are willing to take brown non heat hoofers or scooters.
There is a limit of one egg per customer (depending on supply) per visit, of dasher, grazer, nibbler and any other new fauna. Plus limits are put on others that are running low at any time. Requests are on a first come, first serve basis, with totem requests coming before those in sphere. If a caretaker is not on either friend list and doesn't leave a trail of how to get to them, they will not get any eggs. I'm sorry to have to do this, but this is a very time consuming service and I just can't take hours trying to find someone.
eggbert09 has the hoofer, hugger, scooter, scratcher and sniffer. All other species are in Eggbert10. Friend requests can be sent in, keeping in mind I may send a request from a different eggbert than was requested, depending on space available.
Anyone who can't find either sphere, please pm me (not either eggbert as I don't usually check forums with those accounts) a list of your friends and I'll figure out a way, or post in the Looking for caretaker thread along with posting some friends.
Please keep in mind that I have both accounts open at the same time when I'm in eggbert so it is best to IM me than use the open chat as I may not be in that eggbert at the time, or may be in trade or another chat and miss what is being said. Also I have my friend requests blocked as it bumps me out of trades. I'll befriend anyone who asks though.
I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is being disrespectful or overly demanding while I'm helping other customers.

Eggs can be left in either totem. When I first get in eggbert I hit the totems to log any requests, then I trade between accounts for eggs that belong in the other sphere.
Thank you. This service is kept alive due to the many caretakers who donate eggs for others.

There is no "business" end of Eggbert, AnnBy has listed the accounts used by the service (They are eggbert09 and Eggbert10). If you see another Eggbert running around saying that they are part of the Free Eggbert Service (actively attempting to scam people), please report them to a Moderator. (This shouldn't have to be said but - Do not harass people with the name Eggbert that may have chosen the name without knowing of the service).

Wake and Ehcbes are valued and loved caretakers among this community. Hoping they will be able to get back in game once in awhile soon, as they are dearly missed. With Wake and Ehcbes not having to spend the hours this service takes, it will be much more enjoyable for them to spend the little bit of time they may have actually playing the game.

Back to top'I do have a question...with the leveling, I'm starting to build up a supply of eggs that I'd like to donate (I sell a lot, but I like the idea of this service and know I might need it one of these days, so want to donate some as well). I know that in the future there might be some eggs I'd like, but not right at this moment. Is it best to donate, when I'm ready to make the request for eggs, or can I 'bank' some donations up front? I don't like to appear like a gimmee gimmee beggar, and prefer to swap/trade/barter for my things, if I don't buy them outright. Just wanted to know what you prefer! Thanks, and thanks for keeping this alive for all the caretakers!

You can work it anyway you prefer. I never expect anything in trades and donations are taken at all times, mostly in the totem.

The easiest way used to be sending in a friend request. Currently both eggbert's have a full list. If you can post some friends (or pm me them), I'll try to figure out a trail for you.
Right now eggbert is out of commission as I can't get in game. Depending on how long it takes for the problems to be fixed, when I do get in it may take some time to catch up again.
I'm starting to switch over to totem request only to help save some time and be able to process requests and put new eggs out.
