So I figured it out. I must be really slow and not so observant cuz
i didnt notice a trash can in the lower lefthand corner(in editmode)
all you do is bring the den to it and deposit it.

Click on your fauna and the "house" button with pop up among others.

WinterHart wish there was another way to get ride of dens but so far u have to trash them in edit mode. Many have asked for a deconstruct button on dens but Solice said no. They decided against it because it would cause a big influx on happy items in the marked and u wouldn't need to hunt anymore for them. That would take a big part of the game away.

Of course they couldddddd have more special canopies like the Christmas ones that can take happiness items. (It was christmas wasn't it?) That would make quick work of getting rid of the influx that deconstructing the dens would make. Hint. Hint.

Yes, and we could call that one "Thank You FS" (or "The Mods Need A Raise" ) . Just an token of appreciation for about a week so we can show how much we apreciate what the FS-team is doing and we can pay it back.

I do not leave inventory, food or eggs laying around my sphere. I also hide many of my fauna. Those 2 things alone really speed up movement i my sphere. I have tons of food trees and many dens along with lots of decorations. These things do not seem to slow down things in my sphere.

I hide my fauna when in edit mode so they don't get in the way. I normally don't leave them hidden. Maybe this is why I'm so slow. I currently have 25 fauna roaming. They share dens, I have one combining basin out, one food tree, everything else I use and put away (cooking crocks, etc). Nothing is laying around. I use blocks, grasses and trees bought from the stores.

Some of the slowness can be caused by outdated video or sound card drivers. If you havent updated in a while be sure to check those as well.
