Announcing the Launch of Faunasphere's Volunteer Test Program!

We are very excited to announce the launch of the volunteer testing program for Faunasphere. The first volunteers have already been selected, and we will be implementing this new program effective today! What is that you ask? Well, I'm here to tell you!
The Faunasphere Team has developed a program that will allow some of our caretakers to try out new features on one of our already existing test servers. This server is meant for testing only, and is in no way connected to the accounts used on the main Faunasphere game. This will help us get a feel for how these new features will work on different systems and connections to see what works and what doesn't work.
The caretakers who volunteer will be required to keep anything they see on this test server confidential. All volunteers will need to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) agreeing to these terms, which means volunteers will be legally required not to share what they see on these servers. The features on this server can change between test servers and production. All volunteers will be required to have a signature in the forums that states they are a tester in order to comply with U.S. federal mandates.
I am sure many of you are wondering how you can be a tester. Volunteers will be chosen to participate based on their ability to communicate effectively, criticize constructively and be a positive participant in the FS community. (Mind you this does not mean you have to agree with everything we do or say, it simply means you can disagree in a way that is constructive rather than destructive.)
Volunteers will not be required to test for any particular amount or time. There are no required hours etc. This will be at your discretion or until that particular testing period has been completed.

If you are looking, I am sure there are a lot of us who spend considerable time here who would appreciate the opportunity to assist and provide constructive feedback.

Back to top'We have chosen the first set of volunteers from the community since this is the first go-around, and there may be some tweaks that we need to add to the program during this time. We will be opening the program up for others to have the chance to test as well at a later time. We wanted to make the announcement so that you all could be aware of the program, especially since you will see some of your fellow caretakers with that volunteer signature. If you are interested in doing any testing in the future, you are welcome to let us know in this thread!

1) do volunteers post in this thread/ discussion that you are a volunteer?
2) once the "test period" is over, are new volunteers picked?
3) will volunteers be sent the link to the test server site?
